Description
This part slides in a nut 8 system profile (designed for a 30x30 b type) and is used as a simple linear guide on a table saw.
Materials and methods
I use tough PLA as it is more durable than regular PLA but prints just as easy. In my case the draft quality setting of 0.2mm layer height was good enough. The part should be oriented with the flat side down (actually upside down) and the walls are made so that there is no actual overhang. It can and should be printed without support as it would be tedious to remove it. The model is set for the right amount of tolerance on my Sidewinder X1 so that it moves easily but without too much of play.
