You can assemble the star locater optimized for left-hander or right-hander.
Be careful when you read the degree.
The right degree is which line right-angled to the grip.
Place the plate to 90 degree (vertical to the top) and look to the 90 degree
line to become a feeling for the scale.
For example the star locater is placed to 50 degree on the photo.

You can use the star locater to search a star or you can measure the degree between you and the star.
