Description
A symmetrical stand which may hold almost every mobile device from the smallest iPhone till the 10.5" iPad.
- compact design: only 85 mm wide
- easy access to home button or home bar
- other side can be used as a pencil holder
Update #20190411: I have added a 45°-60° version as well (45° angle is more comfortable on a kitchen workbench).
Materials and methods
Based on the extrusion of a 45° and 60° triangles so no support needed.

Dale Price commented agoAs far as I’m concerned this is one of the better stand designs on here or Thingiverse. Even though it’s fairly simple, it checks a lot of boxes that most others don’t seem to:
- it doesn’t cover up any of the front of the device
- it should work with essentially any current or future device with or without a case, instead of requiring a particular tablet model
- it doesn’t pinch or put pressure on any part of the tablet
- it is stable enough to actively use a tablet on it, even in portrait orientation, without any give when I tap at the top of the screen
