Description
My own requirement were:
- No need to reprint existing parts;
- No loss of printable space;
- Use of the PLA property for the elastic force required for the system to work;
- Easy installation;
I think I've made it work... ;)
Materials and methods
2 x M5 nuts. Print twice obviously (no support required).
Another good tip for better result on the Z layers is too re-thread the rod. They aren't first quality in the first place and redoing the thread is removing the hard spots (a zebra-like pattern appeared as the black treatment was removed every one or so inches).
