Spent 25 years as product designer and artist/model maker for the pewter and jewellery gift industries; hand sculpting 3D models and casting them into metal models for mass reproduction by a various manufacturers.
Then 3D printing came to the attention of manufacturers and my remaining career was spent as a CNC mill machinist and heavy equipment component remanufacture specialist.
Now, I have decided to take the jump into 3D printing due to the availability of affordable, reliable machines combined with retirement and the love, of "making" and learning.
