I designed this out of frustration with the position and (small) size of the stock part cooling set up. The 4010 blower is replaced by a larger capacity 4020. The hot end cooling arrangement was given a make over and an arm added, to help support the bowden and cable.
Materials and methods
Part cooling fan is a 24V 4020 blower. Observe wiring! - blue is negative, yellow is positive (24V PWM) The hot end fan is the original. I used 3mm plastic nuts & bolts (cut to size) to secure the fans to their respective mounts. The hot end will need two slightly longer 3mm (metal) bolts than the stock.
I printed this using 4 walls, 25% fill, 0.4mm nozzle, 0.16mm layer height and a Brim. PLA should work fine, but for an extra margin, choose your favourite higher temp material of choice. I printed the 'bucket' part vertically - so the surface which is glued to the 'main' part was flat.
