Description
This was developed as a collaboration between the University of Pennsylvania Division of Emergency Ultrasound & Center for Resuscitation Science, and the Thomas Jefferson University Department of Emergency Medicine, JeffDESIGN Health Design Lab.
4 Hearts sliced to demonstrate 4 different Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE) views (MELAX, Gastric Short, Bicaval, Midesophageal).
Holes integrated for 6mmx1.75mm round magnets!
Materials and methods
Print in PLA. We used silver for high contrast. If using single nozzle printer, print with outsize of heart facing the bed so that there are less supports on the heart interior. Comes out beautiful on a UM3 with PVA supports. We used epoxy to glue the 6x1.75mm magnets into the holes.
