Description
This base was designed for a 1/144 scale F22 airplane model.
The model airplane sets at a slight angle to the right and up.
This base can be used for other model airplanes, even in other scales.
You just have to adjust the scale to your convenience.
The base of the airplane requires you to make a hole at the botton of your model airplane.
Materials and methods
I designed this base using a combination of Inkscape and FreeCAD.
I used the bezier tool in Inkscape to draw the front and side view of the base. I used Inkscape to generate the letters as well. I used the extrusion and boolean operations in FreeCAD to extrude, combine and cut the parts.
Following are the printing specs:
Ultimaker 2+, raft, support, 0.25 mm resolution, 22% infill, eSun PLA PRO Black.
