Description

You busted off the stuck applicator cap of your Elmer's trying to open it with the pliers.

You gonna throw that whole thing out?

I don't think so.

Fits my 4 and 8 oz bottles of Elmer's White and Carpenter's glues, and Carpenter's MAX. No applicator on this top - it's just a flat closure. Use q-tips or popsicle sticks or something.

Materials and methods

I printed with PETG, flat side of the lid down, no support, .16mm layers, 90% infill.

Might want to stick a bit of foam or cardstock inside the top (like on other bottles) to give a sacrificial layer that will still let the top spin off when the cardstock is stuck in old glue. Keep your threads clean to make sure this doesn't get stuck on.

Don't wrench this down, as the weak axis is also the one stressed by over tightening: delamination may result.
