Description
The ERSA MS 250 Soldering station comes with 2 soldering irons, a full size 25W and a pen size 6W soldering iron. After years of switching between the two by unplugging and plugging in the other, the RCA jack in the station had a broken solder joint and the station was not working reliably anymore. After fixing the broken solder joint, I decided to create this add-on that allows me to keep both soldering irons always plugged in and just switch between the active one with a switch.
Materials and methods
Printed in PLA with 0.2 mm layer height and support everywhere.
Needed Parts:
2 Female RCA Jacks
1 Male RCA Plug
1 Miniature Toggle Switch 2xON/ON
Wire with minimum 0.5 mm² (AWG-20)
