Description
This is my first 3D model for 3D printing and I am currently happy with the way it turned out. I am also excited to one day 3D print it. I unfortunately do not own a 3D printer so if anyone decides to give it a shot I would greatly appreciate your feedback.
My biggest concern at the moment is the internal structure for the bolt and if supports would be needed.
Materials and methods
I have not yet printed this model but I have deduced on a slicer that the best orientation for Finn's head would be on the top or bottom to be on the build platform or bed. A raft is suggested with support only needed on the lower curves of the main body.
I would also suggest a 5 to 10% infill. The model was also designed to be printed at 0.2mm layers.
Once I get a chance to experiement I will update the file. I have also added a 0.2mm offset to the nut and internal pieces for the bolt and main body.
