Description
This is an integrated 25° tilt GoPro Hero 4 mount custom designed for the RCMC Juggernaut 300 prototype frame. It replaces the flimsy stock setup and provides a robust cage for the GoPro while attaching with only two zipties.
This mount will print on its side with no support just fine. The two circular rings in the back slide over the top plate spacers, while integrated channels in the front allow two zipties to thread through the mount and the frame plate, locking the cage in place; an additional circular nub on the bottom of the mount locks into the frame plate and ensures alignment.
Thanks to the spring tab on the back of the case, the GoPro slides in and clicks positively into place. For additional security during high-G maneuvers, I wrap a velcro strap around the entire lower portion of the cage to hold the spring tab securely closed.
Materials and methods
