Description

Simple but working enclosure to use the Higrow boards outdoors. These sub $10 pcb's are great for hobbyists looking to do automated watering of plants with realtime reporting of temperature and moisture in both soil and air. The onboard ESP32 offers wifi/BT and the sensors onboard are easy to use, but not all that precise. More details on the boards here:

The enclosure has been tested in varying weather for several weeks. It works well, but consider waterproofing the board using clear lacquer spray or something similar.

PS: be careful when inserting the Higrow board into the enclosure. It's a snug fit, but the on/off button and USB connector could get hurt if you're not careful.

Materials and methods

Print in PET to withstand the sun on hot days. YMMV if you use PLA ;-)
