Description
What you get is a belt holder for your Garmin GPS device. It fits for belts with a maximum height of 40 mm and a thinkness of max. 4mm.
You can easily slide the GPS device in and out of the holder.
There´s also a simple locking mechanism to prevent the GPS device to fall out of the holder (for maximum security you should use a small steel chain to connect the GPS to e.g. your belt holder on your pants).
printing:
I use PLA for printing, because it´s stronger than ABS!
I set the printing temperature a little higher (around 230 degrees for PLA) to have a good bonding between the layers. You can use standard values for all other settings.
If you want a super heavyduty application use Taulman 618 for printing. (in one of my other designs you can get the settings for this material).
Printing time is around 45min with 0.1mm layers and 2.5 h with 0.05 mm layer hight (70% fill density).
You should also rotate the model to stand upwards on your builtplate.
Use Brim, Support is not necessary!!!
Now, have fun with your new GPS Holder!!!
