Description
My entry for FB 3D Printing group's Nerf contest. I decided to make a Nerf Claymore that is silently waiting until an unsuspecting target triggers the trap! This is also inspired but the Nerf Nuke by ThinkGeek. That might be my next project. Here is a quick video to demonstrate the claymore.
Materials and methods
PLA(MG Chemicals) using Print-rite + Octopi.

The air chamber, spring and plunger is from an actual Nerf Gun and the rest is modeled and 3D printed. I learned that the foam Nerf needs a snug-fit in the barrel for best use of the air pressure. If I will redo the design I might try to make a small tube that fits snug inside the foam Nerf.
