Description

Scan was made with the help of Protospace Utrecht and Ultimaker for the project "Digitale kunstroof". The statue is in the Central Museum of Utrecht.

English
Found in Vechten, the Netherlands. The head of the slave contains a lose small stone or a piece of clay, so it could have been used as a rattle. The gaelic cloak (cuculus) could also point at the Genius cuculatus, a companion of Aesculapis, so it could also have had healing properties.

Dutch

Gevonden in Vechten.
