V-Slot Extrusions

OpenBuilds inspired V-Slot extrusion models based on the original section views. Good for assembly trials where you don't want to damage your real extrusions.

Description

While designing parts that should be mounted on my MendelMax 3 printer I needed a model of the V-Slot aluminium extrusions. So I took the section view from OpenBuilds and build this models of a 20x20mm, a 40x20mm and a 60x20mm extrusion in Fusion 360 Ultimate. While the Fusion 360 model serves as geometrical guide, the STL comes handy when I need a short extrusion prototype printed for assembly trials. I print this extrusion standing upright and scale it on the z axis to fit my needs.
