Description

This dual color electric drill prototype was designed to show the capabilities and accuracy of dual extrusion on the Ultimaker 3. This model was printed in dual color PLA. It can also be printed with ABS or another industrial-grade material for different characteristics.

Materials and methods

This model was printed in dual color PLA using the Ultimaker 3.

- No support material
- Thin layer of glue and a brim for adhesion
- Prime tower
- Low infill

Printed on:: Ultimaker S5
Result:: Printed fine on the Ultimaker S5. A single, already merged 3MF file would make printing this a lot simpler.
Feedback:: Like the design a lot. We probably need a version with the new font though :)
