Description

Thanks to our good friend Bill!  In addition to providing us with killer exploded-view drawings of our kits, Bill has designed this nifty add-on for the Metal Plus.  A spool coaster that mounts to the top of the bot, allowing the filament spool to feed freely into the extruder.

Materials and methods

PLA/ABS - Print big side down at 0.2mm layer, 2 perimeters, 4 top and bottom solid layers with 20% honeycomb infill.

Hardware required:
4: 608 bearings
2: M3 10mm Screw
2: M3 16mm Screw
2: M3 Hex Nut
2: M3 Hex Nut Locking 2: #6 Washer
4: 3/4” Washer
4: 5/16” Screw - 1”
4: 5/16” Hex Nut Locking

Great looking supports. Nice curves. I used some bearing/pulley assemblies we had at work. The filament rolls out smoothly.
